All your transport orders in one place
From a single typed-in order or an Excel upload, right through to full ERP and WMS integration, alpha-TMS brings every order into one structured backlog ready to be optimised, scheduled and settled. No carrier portals, no scattered spreadsheets, no orders lost in email.

Where control over outsourced freight starts
Everything you need to know about our company.
Most transport problems begin before a truck is ever booked. Orders arrive by email, from your ERP or WMS, or get typed in by hand; each route into the operation is handled a little differently.
The same details get entered more than once, shipments sit in inboxes, and nothing lives in one place. Alpha-TMS removes that fragmentation at the source. Every order, whatever its origin, lands in one backlog, ready for the rest of the flow.
Connect however works for you
Alpha-TMS adapts to your organisation, not the other way around. Start simple and add integration as you grow.
Manual
Enter orders by hand, no setup required.
Bulk
Upload multiple orders at once, for example from Excel.
Capture orders straight from an incoming email.
Connect to your ERP or WMS
Alpha-TMS can communicate with virtually any external system directly, or through an integration layer. Whether we build and map the integration for you, or your own developers connect to our fully documented API, the choice is yours.

Three steps to smarter transport
From onboarding to delivery — get moving in minutes, not weeks.
01
One central order backlog
Whether your orders arrive by hand, by file or straight from your ERP or WMS, they come together in a single backlog. One source of truth for every order that needs scheduling. Orders are validated and enriched on entry, so what flows into optimisation, scheduling and settlement is clean and consistent from the start. And it stays current: when an order changes or is cancelled, alpha-TMS updates the backlog automatically, so every downstream step works with the latest information.
02
No carrier portals required
With alpha-TMS, you manage every shipment and every carrier in one place. You never use your mail or log into carrier portals to place or track shipments. Smaller carriers receive their orders by email with a secure link, and as their volume grows they can be fully integrated via API or EDI. Your whole operation runs from one application, instead of being scattered across carrier portals, emails and phone calls.
03
Communication Hub
Already organise your own transport and no need for a full TMS? You can still use alpha-TMS purely as your carrier communication layer. Send your orders straight in, without optimisation or scheduling, and alpha-TMS handles all the messaging to your carriers. You connect once, to us. We build and maintain the API and EDI links with each carrier, so your own IT team does not have to. Adding a carrier, or keeping a connection running, becomes our job instead of another integration project on their backlog.
Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about alpha-TMS
Do I need an ERP integration to start using alpha-TMS?
No. Alpha-TMS works from day one without any system integration. You can start by entering orders manually or uploading them in bulk from Excel. When you are ready to integrate, we connect your ERP or WMS to alpha-TMS — and we can build and maintain that connection for you.
Which ERP and WMS systems does alpha-TMS connect to?
Alpha-TMS connects to all major ERP and WMS systems, including SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, JD Edwards, and NetSuite, among others. If your system is not on this list, we can still integrate — most connections are built using our fully documented API or EDI file exchange.
Can alpha-TMS receive orders by email?
Yes. Alpha-TMS can capture orders directly from incoming emails — no manual re-entry needed. Orders received by email are processed and added to your central order backlog, ready for scheduling.
What is SFTP file exchange and when should I use it?
SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol) is a method for automatically exchanging order files between your system and alpha-TMS. It is well suited for recurring, scheduled order flows — for example, a nightly export from your ERP. No real-time connection is needed, which makes SFTP a straightforward and reliable option for many operations.
How does API integration work with alpha-TMS?
Our fully documented REST API allows your systems to create, update, and retrieve transport orders in real time. Whether your developers build the connection or we do it for you, the API gives you the most direct and flexible way to link alpha-TMS to your existing systems.
What happens when an order is changed or cancelled in my ERP?
Alpha-TMS keeps your order backlog current. When an order is updated or cancelled in your ERP or WMS, that change is reflected in alpha-TMS automatically — so your scheduling, carriers, and downstream steps always work with the latest information.
